Installation Instructions

1. Read the exact manufacturer instructions for 46-20468-B, verify the actual engine, supplied parts and every unresolved source conflict before disassembly.
2. Park on level ground, apply the parking brake, let the engine cool and disconnect the negative battery cable as directed. Retain the original hardware and follow the vehicle service procedure around hybrid systems where applicable.
3. Remove the main engine cover. Release the two transmission-breather hose clips from the side cover, loosen its screws and remove it. Unlock and disconnect the MAP and temperature sensor connectors, then disconnect and remove the vent tube.
4. Remove the pipe mounting screw. Unlock and disconnect the blow-off actuator connector, disconnect the charge-air recirculation hose and release the PCV hose at its valve as directed.
5. Loosen the throttle-body and turbo coupling clamps, remove the original pipe and both original couplings. Release stuck connections carefully with the instructed tool.
6. Lubricate the original sensor O-ring with grease as directed, transfer the temperature and MAP sensors and secure the MAP sensor with the supplied M6 x 12 screw.
7. Transfer the original blow-off actuator with the three supplied M6 x 20 screws and M6 washers.
8. Seal the unused accessory port with the supplied NPT plug and suitable thread sealant. Transfer both factory metal inserts and the pipe mounting grommet.
9. Clean oil from mating surfaces. Fit the 2.75 x 2.5-inch 45-degree coupling at the throttle body and the 2-inch ID x 5.6-inch 10-degree coupling to the pipe, using two SmartSeal clamps per coupling. Install the pipe, align its factory mount and couplings, tighten clamps as directed and secure with the factory mounting screw. No numerical torque is given in the exact instructions.
10. Reconnect the vent tube securely and keep it clear of the charge pipe. Restore the PCV hose, blow-off actuator connector and recirculation hose. Reconnect the temperature and MAP sensors and lock their security tabs.
11. Reinstall the side cover using its factory screws and reattach the transmission-breather hose clips. Replace the two metal inserts under the main cover grommets with the supplied 22 x 30 mm spacers, then install the main cover using the supplied M6 x 50 flange screws.
12. Reconnect the battery as directed; check connections, leaks, wiring and clearance. Recheck every connection after 50–100 miles.
