PART #2543
FEATURES:Improve Performance by Eliminating Flex
Significantly stiffen the chassis on your 1994-2004 Ford Mustang GT, Cobra or V6 with these BBK Gripp Subframe Connectors. The SN95 Mustang uses a unibody chassis rather than the older style body on a full frame. One of the major shortcomings of this design is that relying on the sheer strength of the floor to prevent flexing simply doesn't work, especially when pushing the car to it's limits.
To fix this flex issue, install a set of BBK Gripp Mustang Subframe Connectors to tie the front and rear subframes together as well as the seat mounts for maximum rigidity.
Bolt-On Design
BBK subframe connectors are designed so they can be simply bolted in place by drilling a few holes and using the supplied hardware through the subframe and bolt the seat supports to each seat mount. This works great, but for maximum benefit we highly recommend that they are welded in place. Many home mechanics will bolt them on and then drive to a shop with a welder to finish the job. These subframe connectors are fully sealed and powder coated for great looks and a durability.
Installation Note:
Some Cobra models and convertibles require removal of the forward bracket on the subframe connector to clear factory bracing near the transmission crossmember. This makes them a weld-on only install in those instances.

BBK Performance has been building bolt-on performance parts in the USA since 1988, focusing on dyno-proven gains for Ford, GM, Dodge, and Jeep platforms. Founded by Brian Barry in Southern California, BBK has grown to two U.S. facilities with nearly 200,000 square feet of R&D, manufacturing, and distribution space dedicated entirely to domestic performance. Popular Upgrades BBK cold air intakes are among the most popular first mods for Mustang, Camaro, and F-150 owners, delivering 10–20 hp gains on naturally aspirated engines with no tune required on most applications. Performance headers improve exhaust scavenging and add noticeable low-end torque on V8 and V6 engines. BBK throttle bodies, fuel injectors, and mass air meters complete the intake side upgrade path for owners building toward larger power numbers. Do BBK cold air intakes require a tune? Many BBK cold air intakes are designed to work on stock or lightly modified engines without a tune by using the factory MAF sensor...

Aftermarket suspension systems improve handling, ride quality, and ride height adjustment beyond what the factory suspension provides. From lowering springs and coilover kits for sport handling to lift kits and leveling kits for truck and SUV off-road capability, quality suspension components transform how a vehicle rides and handles. Popular Suspension Upgrades Popular suspension upgrades include coilover kits for adjustable ride height and damping, sport lowering springs for improved handling and reduced body roll, performance shock absorbers and strut assemblies, sway bar and end link upgrade kits, subframe brace kits, and complete suspension packages for lifted trucks and off-road SUVs. Alignment kits including camber bolts and camber arms are also frequently ordered after ride height changes. What is the difference between coilovers and lowering springs? Coilovers are complete shock and spring assemblies with adjustable ride height set by threading the spring perch on the shock...
