• Most hoods require hood pins for safety reasons we are not be liable for any damages to the product and or the vehicle caused by not properly using hood pins Here or a incorrect install
• These are recommended as a secondary option to the OEM Catch / D Ring
• These are to prevent hood failure from an incorrectly adjusted bump stop and to safeguard the D Ring from failure.
• D rings and Bump stops work together to hold the hood’s nose from bouncing and should be adjusted accordingly to stop the nose of the hood from bouncing.
• Hood pins are not meant to replace an OEM Catch / D Ring if you want to pin your hood with no Catch / D Ring a hood pin such as a large Hotchkis pin should be run. Please contact us if you want a pin on hood!
• If you do not want to use the oem hood strut an optional hood prop rod can be used instead
