Engineered for enthusiasts who demand the best, these quick-release hood pins deliver superior strength, seamless functionality, and a sleek, stealthy look that outperforms all competitors. Priced per latch (add 2 to cart for a set), this is the top choice for securing your hood with unmatched reliability and style.
Why Black Ops Mini Hood Quick Pins Are the Best Choice
Crafted from premium T-6 aluminum and stainless steel, each Black Ops Mini Hood Quick Pin is built to withstand up to 150 lbs of pulling force, ensuring your hood stays secure even at high speeds or under extreme conditions. Unlike traditional hood pins that rust or rely on lanyards that can scratch your paint, these push-button pins systems offer a patented, tool-free release mechanism for effortless operation. The black anodized finish blends seamlessly with dark-colored vehicles, providing a low-profile, professional appearance that enhances your car’s aesthetic while maintaining durability.
Unmatched Performance and Durability
The Black Ops Mini Hood Quick Pins are designed with precision and rigorously tested to meet the highest standards. Their corrosion-resistant materials ensure long-lasting performance, making them ideal for carbon fiber hoods.
Features:
- Stealthy Black Anodized Finish: Perfectly blends with black or dark-colored vehicles for a cohesive, polished look.
- Two Size Options for Perfect Fit:
- Option 1: 1.0 inch (25.79 mm) latch body, 16.36 mm length, 2.20 inches (55.40 mm) mounting stud.
- Option 2: 1.25 inch (31.79 mm) latch body, 16.44 mm length, 2.20 inches (55.40 mm) mounting stud.
- Quick-Release Push-Button Design: No tools or lanyards needed, reducing wear on your vehicle’s paint.
- High-Strength Construction: Supports up to 150 lbs of force, ideal for racing or performance applications.
- Compact Footprint: Minimal design ensures a clean, unobtrusive look without sacrificing functionality.
Why Choose Black Ops Over Competitors?
While other hood pins like AeroCatch or generic quick-release fasteners may seem appealing, they often fall short in durability and design. AeroCatch systems are bulkier and more intrusive, while cheaper alternatives compromise on material quality, leading to failures under stress. Black Ops Mini Hood Quick Pins combine a low-profile design, superior materials, and a locking option for added security, making them the preferred choice for professionals and enthusiasts alike. Their Made in the USA craftsmanship ensures aerospace-grade quality, setting them apart in a crowded market.
Perfect for Any Application
Whether you’re upgrading a Dodge, Chevrolet or Ford, or even a custom drift car, these hood pins are versatile enough to fit a wide range of vehicles. Their small footprint and adjustable stud lengths make installation straightforward, even on complex setups like carbon fiber hoods or oversized factory hoods. For those needing extra reach, optional 4-inch elongated pins are available to accommodate unique applications.
The Clear Choice for Performance Enthusiasts
The Black Ops Mini Hood Quick Pin (Black) is more than just a hood latch—it’s a statement of quality, performance, and style. Designed to outperform and outlast, these latches offer the perfect blend of form and function, making them the number one choice for car enthusiasts worldwide. Don’t settle for less; choose Black Ops for a hood pin that delivers every time.
