Installation Instructions

- Disconnect the battery, raise the vehicle securely, support it on rated stands, and follow the vehicle service manual for transmission removal.
- Remove the transmission and the original pressure plate and disc using a controlled criss cross loosening sequence.
- Inspect the flywheel, rear main seal, pilot bearing, release fork, and related hardware. Resurface or replace worn components before installing the new clutch.
- Clean the flywheel friction surface and install the sprung disc in the correct direction with the supplied alignment tool.
- Position the pressure plate, tighten its fasteners gradually in a criss cross sequence, and use the vehicle service manual torque specification.
- Install the release bearing and inspect the release mechanism, applying lubricant only where the vehicle service manual permits.
- Reinstall the transmission, reconnect the mounts, linkage, hydraulics, wiring, and any removed sensors, then refill fluid and bleed the clutch hydraulics as required.
- Check clutch pedal operation and engagement with the vehicle stationary before lowering it for road testing.
- Complete the 500 mile break in with engine speed below 4500 RPM, no more than half throttle, and no boost when applicable. Avoid hard launches and track use until break in is complete.
