Installation Instructions
- Confirm the ACR-3420 2022 Honda Civic Si application and manual transmission before starting work.
- Disconnect the battery, secure the vehicle on a level surface, chock the wheels, and support it with rated stands.
- Drain the transmission fluid, disconnect the shift linkage, clutch hydraulics, wiring, and sensors that cross to the transmission.
- Support the engine, remove the transmission mount and crossmember, then lower the transmission clear of the engine.
- Remove the existing pressure plate and disc using a gradual criss cross pattern, then remove the existing flywheel.
- Inspect the rear main seal, pilot bearing, release fork, pivot, and slave cylinder, replacing worn parts as needed.
- Install the chromoly lightweight flywheel with the supplied hardware and the vehicle service manual torque sequence.
- Clean the flywheel friction surface with approved brake cleaner, then position the disc with the alignment tool.
- Install the pressure plate and tighten its fasteners in stages with the specified torque, then remove the alignment tool.
- Install the release bearing, lightly lubricate the input shaft splines with suitable high temperature grease, and reinstall the transmission.
- Reconnect the mounts, linkage, hydraulics, wiring, and sensors, refill the transmission fluid, and bleed the clutch hydraulics.
- Press the clutch pedal until it feels firm, check for leaks, and complete the 500 mile break in before hard launches or track use.
