AEM 100 PSIg Brass Pressure Sensor Kit
Monitor system pressure with the AEM 30-2131-100, a brass-bodied 100 PSIg sensor supplied with its mating connector and pins. 0–100 PSIg gauge pressure, referenced to atmosphere; this is not an absolute MAP sensor. AEM positions brass sensors for reference monitoring and recommends stainless sensors for crucial ECU calibration.
Key Features
- 100 PSIg sensing with a linear analog output.
- Brass housing, 316L wetted material and 1/8-inch NPT male connection.
- Brass-specific accuracy and regulated 5 V requirements; specifications differ from the stainless family.
- Connector and pins supplied for installation into a compatible system.
Fitment
| Application | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Universal / specification matched | Compatible pressure range, fluid, 1/8-inch NPT port, three-wire analog input and exact sensor calibration. Custom wiring or plumbing may be required. |
No vehicle-specific plug-in fitment is established by the shared thread. AEM does not recommend this brass sensor family for methanol.

The exact PSI chart uses 0.5 V at 0 PSIg and 4.5 V at 100 PSIg. Its kPa column starts at 100 kPa when the PSI column is zero, so do not enter those kPa numbers as gauge pressure without resolving the reference. Consult the exact sensor calibration sheet before setup.
What's Included
- One 100 PSIg brass pressure sensor.
- Mating connector plug and pin kit.
The current primary contents do not confirm a prewired flying lead or the adapters supplied with some stainless kits. A gauge, controller, wiring loom and additional plumbing are separate unless specifically supplied.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 30-2131-100?
It is an AEM brass 100 PSIg gauge-pressure sensor kit with a mating connector and pins.
Does the pressure range include atmospheric pressure?
No. Gauge pressure reads zero at ambient atmosphere and measures pressure above that reference.
Is this the right sensor for critical ECU calibration?
AEM recommends brass for reference monitoring and stainless sensors when crucial ECU calibration accuracy is required. This brass family is specified below ±3% of full scale including temperature effects.
Does it include a flying lead or plumbing adapters?
Current manufacturer contents identify the brass sensor, mating connector and pins. They do not confirm a prewired flying lead, hose barb or -4 adapter; plan additional wiring and plumbing separately.
Can I use the stainless sensor calibration?
Use the exact brass sensor data sheet and the receiving device's required units and pressure reference. Matching appearance or thread size does not prove matching calibration.
Can it be used with methanol?
AEM's brass sensor manual does not recommend methanol. Confirm the intended fluid and operating pressure before installation.
Is it a direct replacement for every vehicle?
No. This is a specification-matched component requiring a compatible port, electrical input and calibration. A vehicle name alone does not establish compatibility.
What power and connector are required?
The manual specifies a regulated 5 V supply within ±0.25 V and a Packard three-pin connector. Follow its terminal diagram; do not connect the sensor to battery voltage.
Installation Instructions
- Confirm the exact sensor, fluid, pressure range and receiving device. Read the AEM brass pressure sensor instructions and current manufacturer product information.
- Depressurize the system before opening it. Install into a compatible 1/8-inch NPT connection using the manufacturer's 14.7 ft-lbf mounting specification.
- Use the manual's connector diagram. Feed each wire through the housing before crimping the pull-to-seat terminal, then pull it into its locked position.
- Connect signal ground, regulated 5 V sensor power and the signal input exactly as documented. Route wiring clear of heat and moving parts.
- Configure the exact calibration and pressure reference, then check for leaks and verify readings against a suitable reference before operating the system.
