The bars are tubular 1026 DOM steel. The black-anodized billet bushing brackets are 6061-T6 aluminum; that bracket material does not describe the bars.

Installation Instructions

1. Confirm aFe 440-711001-L against the exact vehicle and installed equipment. Inventory the actual components and follow the selected manufacturer instructions and current vehicle service requirements.
2. For the RWD front installation, the guide says front wheel removal is unnecessary. Safely raise/support the car, then remove the front undertray’s sixteen bolts and three pop clips using a 10 mm socket.
3. Disconnect the front end links and remove the bushing brackets with a 14 mm socket. The front end-link prose and photo reverse the 17 mm/19 mm tool assignments; match the actual fasteners and obtain manufacturer clarification instead of relying on the inconsistent assignment. Retain the factory hardware and note bar orientation.
4. Match replacement-bar orientation to the removed bar. Lubricate front bushings with supplied silicone grease and position them just outside the centering rings. Fit the billet brackets and reuse the factory subframe nuts to factory specifications. Reattach end links with the original nuts and restore the undertray and clips.
5. The manufacturer-linked shared guide documents the RWD rear procedure: safely raise/support the vehicle; if using a floor jack, it specifies stands at all four factory-designated jack points. Remove the four rear under-panels with a 10 mm socket.
6. For bar clearance, the RWD guide removes the exhaust bracket with a 12 mm socket to lower the exhaust enough for passage. Remove the rear end-link nut with a 14 mm socket while holding the stud with a 17 mm wrench; remove the bushing brackets using a 14 mm socket. Retain the original hardware.
