Transfer all three original housing grommets/sleeves and reuse all three bolts, including the two accessed inside the new housing. The exact procedure connects the small hose to a plastic fitting on the coupling, but the BOM does not list that fitting as a separate service item; confirm the actual coupling assembly for replacements. The filter-flange clamp likewise has no separate BOM service code/count. Do not substitute a different kitβs aluminum NPT fitting, smaller filter, auxiliary plug or top seal trim. The manual lists no auxiliary-inlet plug for this housing. Reuse the original hose clamps and restore the engine cover. Service supplies are separate.

Retain the three housing bolts and remove the lower original housing. Transfer all three grommets and sleeves to the new housing, then secure it using all three original bolts, with two inside. Lock the selected filter into the housing and leave its flange clamp loose. Secure the housing inlet with the two supplied push rivets. Fit the bellows coupling onto the smaller end of the new tube, with both clamps loose. Slide the tube/coupling over the turbo inlet and into the filter, align and tighten the connections. Reconnect the small hose to the couplingβs plastic fitting and the larger hose to the tube with retained clamps. Restore the engine cover. Recheck screws, clamps and connectors after 100β200 miles. No numeric torque or MAF-transfer step is supplied.
