aFe 54-72103 is the Momentum GT intake for specified 2014-2016 Ram 2500/3500 6.4L HEMI applications, including 2500 Power Wagon. One Pro 5R oiled element with reinforced metal cage fits the molded XLPE housing. The exact procedure transfers BOTH the original MAF and separate temperature sensor, retains the original air duct and restores AC-line support. This differs from the later no-MAF configuration.
Current exact manufacturer and shared twenty-page manual identify Ram 2500/3500 2014-2016 6.4L HEMI, including the actual 2500 Power Wagon configuration, with the illustrated MAF and separate temperature-sensor arrangement. Exact selected-part retailer tables restore 2500 SLT 2014-2016. Original sixteen named rows and bounds remain, including 2014-2015 Laramie Limited and Lone Star and 2016 Limited labels. Current primary/manual endpoint corrects older 2017 title wording; no existing 2017 application row is removed because none exists. No later no-MAF or diesel application is inferred.

Dry filter media in the shared manual are alternatives, not additional included elements. Both original sensors, the CCV hose, factory inlet duct, original bottom grommets and retained AC-line isolation hardware remain part of the installation. No new MAF, new temperature sensor, wiring extension or loose generic heat shield is supplied. The current page calls the temperature fitting injection molded while the exact manual calls it billet; confirm the actual 05-01336 revision without substituting its material from a neighboring kit. Neither M4 nor M6 screw length is specified. The threaded CCV fitting normally retains a gap below its hex after proper installation; do not force it flush. Current manufacturer-hosted manual is byte-identical to the previously fully illustrated twenty-page family manual; its exact bill and figures A-O were reconciled with a SHA-256 proof.
aFe Power develops application-specific intake, filtration, exhaust, cooling, tuning, suspension, drivetrain, and truck-performance components supported by product testing and documented installation requirements.
One 24-91110 Pro 5R oiled filter with five cotton-gauze layers, reinforcing metal cage and 8-inch height.
Do both original sensors transfer?Yes. The exact manual transfers both MAF and separate temperature sensor, unlike the later no-MAF kit.
What MAF screws are supplied? Two M4 Torx screws are itemized; their length is not stated in this exact manual.
How does the AC line attach? The retained isolation mount aligns with the rear housing insert and attaches with supplied M6 bolt, flat washer and lock washer.
Should the CCV fitting be forced flush? No. It is NPT and normally retains a gap below its hex. Do not overtighten.
Does the current chart show 24 percent more flow?It shows 247 versus original 210 CFM at 1.5 inches H2O, approximately 17.6 percent; advertised 24 percent remains a source/test-basis qualification.
Does the dyno prove 18 lb-ft peak-to-peak?The linked run-maxima difference is 11.39 lb-ft. No marked 18-lb-ft comparison is identified on that report.
What torque and follow-up apply? No numeric torque or M4/M6 screw length is specified. Check bolts, clamps and connectors after 100-200 miles.
Verify aFe 54-72103. Read the complete exact manual on a cool engine and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Lift the front of the engine cover, then pull it forward to release the rear mounts. Disconnect both temperature and MAF plugs and the CCV hose, loosen the two tube clamps and remove the original tube. Release the airbox lid and filter. Remove the two AC-line securing screws and unclip the second line set, then lift the housing only far enough to release the inlet-duct tabs before taking out housing and duct. Remove one AC-line isolation mount as shown. Transfer two original bottom grommets to the new housing and install both supplied side grommets. Connect the original duct. Install the temperature-fitting grommet and fitting, using suitable lubricant as directed. Fit the threaded CCV adaptor without overtightening; a normal hex-to-tube gap remains. Transfer the original temperature sensor, then transfer MAF with the supplied two M4 screws. Seat the housing on all four mounting points and locate the retained duct. Slide the retained AC-line isolation mount into alignment and secure it with the supplied M6 bolt, flat washer and lock washer. Fit the large housing clamp and selected filter, initially loose. Fit the silicone coupling and two smaller clamps at the throttle body, also loose. Install the tube while aligning the CCV hose over its adaptor. Seat the tube completely against the back of the filter flange with no gap. Tighten clamps with their positions clearing the engine cover. Reconnect both sensors and click the CCV hose over the adaptor step, then pull gently to verify retention. Restore the engine cover’s rear then front mounts. Install the auxiliary plug only if desired. Follow EO-label directions for the exact eligible exempt application. No numeric torque is given; check all bolts, clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles.
Current manufacturer advertises 24 percent more flow and gains up to 16 hp/18 lb-ft. Actual linked selected-family chart labels 247 CFM versus original 210 CFM at 1.5 inches H2O, approximately 17.6 percent; this is a source/test-basis discrepancy, not 24 percent or a 7-inch-pressure comparison. The current dyno identifies the selected oiled family V2 tube on a 2016 Ram 6.4L, original calibration, headers and exhaust, second gear, 10 percent preload and blade fan. Intake auxiliary scoop is covered. Baseline July 26, 2016 and intake August 18, 2016 use SAE 1.03 and 1.01 with different weather. Run maxima differ by 15.37 hp and 11.39 lb-ft. No marked 18-lb-ft point is identified on this linked report, so advertised torque remains qualified. Current primary references EO D-550-27 for some or all applications; the full official exhibit remains an access/source hold. Preserve exact engine/year/label qualification rather than blanket exemption. Turn14 authenticated access is unavailable; prices remain unchanged.
