Installation Instructions

1. Read the exact manufacturer instructions for 46-20444-B, verify the actual engine, supplied parts and every unresolved source conflict before disassembly.
2. Cool and securely park the vehicle and disconnect negative battery cables. Release the MAF connector safety tab, disconnect its wiring, remove the intake tube and release the airbox from its mounting nut and original grommets.
3. Release the original cold-pipe temperature-sensor connector and the retaining clips at the engine inlet and intercooler outlet. Remove the original cold pipe and carefully recover both metal retaining clips for reuse.
4. Transfer the original intake-air temperature sensor into the indicated cold-pipe fitting and use thread sealant as instructed. Seal the unused 1/8 NPT port with the supplied plug when no accessory sensor is installed.
5. Lightly grease and install the 80 mm ID seal in the cold tube engine-end groove and the 70 mm ID seal in the separate intercooler-outlet adapter.
