Installation Instructions
- Read the exact Raptor intercooler/cold-tube instructions for 46-20292-B, verify its complete packing list and resolve the documented closing-step omissions before work.
- Park level, engage the parking brake, cool the engine and follow the manual battery-disconnection guidance. Remove the intake Y-pipe and its sensor connection, release the vent and cold-tube wiring attachment, and retain the original cold-pipe sensor.
- Release the throttle-body coupling. Remove the skid plate, move the pressure-relief-valve tube aside, separate the original cold pipe and remove its lower wire retaining clip for reuse.
- Disconnect the original hot-side intercooler couplings. Release the valve wire loom and intercooler-fan harness clips/connector as directed. Support the cross brace before removing the two frame bolts and lowering the intercooler, fans and brace together.
- Transfer the original rubber grommets to the new intercooler and install the specified bottom-pin plugs with thread sealant. Fit the two supplied fan spacers into the lubricated original fan grommets.
- Transfer the original valve/canister assembly, securing it with the supplied bolt and washer. Assemble original fans, grommets, hot-side couplings, brace and new core. With assistance, refit the assembly using the second pair of bracket spacers and supplied bolts; confirm upper grommet seating before tightening.
- Install the original retaining clip into the adapter outer groove and supplied O-ring into its inner groove. Lubricate adapter/sensor seals as directed, fit the large elbow and clamps, then fit the small coupling, sealed unused port plug and original sensor to the new cold tube.
