aFe 54-13057R is the Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Pro 5R cold air intake for the specified 2019–2021 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 with the 4.3L V6. The exact manufacturer page and twenty-page manual confirm one five-layer oiled filter, an XLPE tube and open-element housing. The original inlet scoop and MAF remain in service. The Air Filter Life System must be reset to 100% and then disabled using the vehicle owner’s procedure.
Current exact manufacturer specifications and the shared R/D manual agree on 2019–2021 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 with the 4.3L V6. Existing Silverado Custom, Custom Trail Boss and WT, plus Sierra Base rows are corroborated by exact-part named tables. All original year bounds and tags remain unchanged; genuine GMC Base is retained. A broad secondary table also lists other Silverado trims, but complete engine/equipment proof for those branches is unresolved, so no additional trims are added. Regional cab labels are not new trim groups. No 2.7L turbo, 5.3L/6.2L V8, 2022 model or earlier-generation LD/Limited fitment is inferred.

The dry filter in the shared manual and optional filters/accessories on its service-parts page are alternatives or separate purchases. One selected oiled filter is included. The manual separately removes and reinstalls the filter’s own clamp; this is distinct from its two itemized coupling clamps. Original MAF, mounting grommets, front insert, mounting nut, scoop clip, sight-shield clips and hood-latch screws are necessary. No replacement sensor or extra engine-cover hardware is listed. The manual’s two supplied ties are itemized as a pair even though its final routing step illustrates one captive tie plus a retained factory tie.
aFe Power develops application-specific intake, filtration, exhaust, cooling, tuning, suspension, drivetrain, and truck-performance components supported by product testing and documented installation requirements.
One 24-91120 Pro 5R filter with five oiled cotton-gauze layers, a 5-inch flange and 9-inch height. The shared dry filter row is an alternative.
Which engines and years are documented? The exact page and manual specify the 2019–2021 Silverado/Sierra 1500 4.3L V6. Other displacements and later years are not inferred.
What must happen to the filter-life system?Reset it to 100% first, then disable it using the owner’s manual procedure. The manufacturer warns of a persistent message if it remains enabled.
Does the factory scoop remain?Yes. Its original clip is retained, and the scoop is inserted into the new housing’s front opening and secured again.
Which mounting pieces transfer? Both housing-pin grommets and the separate front metal insert/grommet transfer. Reuse the original mounting nut.
Must the sight shield and hood latch be restored?Yes. Reinstall the sight shield with all ten original clips and the hood latch with its two retained screws.
Which tube end goes in first? The throttle-body coupling end first, then the filter end. Align before tightening the clamps and reconnecting the breather and MAF.
What numeric gains, torque and recheck are documented? No current exact airflow or dyno chart is linked, and the manual gives no numeric installation torque. Recheck bolts, clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles; California restrictions apply.
Verify aFe 54-13057R. Read all twenty pages on a cool engine. Disconnect the MAF and release both clips on the crankcase breather hose. Loosen original tube clamps with an 8 mm driver and rotate the air-cleaner outlet duct counterclockwise out of its eyelet. Release the wiring connector’s locking tab and two harness ties, then move the harness safely aside. Remove the two hood-latch screws with a T15 driver, slide out the latch and remove the sight shield’s ten clips. Keep these parts. Remove and retain the scoop clip, move the scoop aside and remove the housing nut with a 10 mm deep socket. Lift the housing off its securing stud and release both pin grommets from their bracket. Transfer both pin grommets and the separate front metal insert/grommet into the new housing. Transfer the MAF using the supplied M4 screws and T20 driver. Install the 37-inch trim around the top opening. Seat both pin grommets in their bracket, restore the original mounting nut and reinsert the scoop with its clip. Restore the sight shield with all ten clips and the hood latch with both screws. Remove the supplied filter’s clamp, insert the filter from above and snap its flange into the round housing opening, then put its clamp back on the flange. Install the reducer and #048 clamp at the throttle body, with #060 on its other end. Slide the tube into the throttle-body coupling first, then the filter. Align before tightening all clamps with the specified driver. Connect the 18-inch breather hose, reconnect MAF wiring and secure the harness with the supplied captive tie and retained factory tie in the illustrated holes. Reset the Air Filter Life System to 100% and then disable it per the vehicle owner’s manual. No battery-disconnection step or numeric torque is given. Check bolts, clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles.
The current exact manufacturer page links the installation manual but supplies no airflow chart or dyno chart. Its general dyno-tuned/design language does not establish a numeric gain for this configuration, and no horsepower, torque or flow percentage is certified here. Earlier retailer 7.5-inch filter-height language conflicts with the exact current manufacturer’s 9-inch specification and selected service filter; the current primary specification is used. The manual warns that failing to disable the filter-life system after resetting it to 100% may cause a persistent Check Engine Air Filter System message. Both exact product page and manual state this intake is not currently CARB exempt and cannot be purchased in California or used on California-registered vehicles. No exemption is inherited from another GM system.
