aFe Magnum FORCE Stage-2 intake details

aFe 54-13075R is the Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Pro 5R intake for the documented Ram 1500 DT 5.7L HEMI/eTorque applications. One selected 24-91149 filter fits the open-element XLPE housing and molded intake tube. The current exact manual separately identifies 2019–2024 and 2026, preserving the 2025 model-year gap; a continuous 2019–2026 headline must not be read as an all-year/all-engine approval.

Key Features

  • One 24-91149 Pro 5R filter; five-layer pre-oiled cotton gauze, 5.5-inch flange and 9-inch height.
  • Molded tube 05-5413075B1 and open-element housing 05-5413075B2.
  • Reducer coupling 05-01508 mounts its smaller side at the throttle body.
  • Original temperature sensor transfers through adaptor 05-01454 and grommet 03-50167.
  • Aluminum SAE fitting 05-01339 reconnects the original crankcase breather; exposed threads remain after correct seating.
  • 43-inch trim seal 05-01534 and four transferred original housing grommets.

Fitment

The exact current manual explicitly covers 2019–2024 5.7L HEMI and eTorque, then separately 2026 5.7L eTorque. The OEM Ram FAQ confirms that 2025 uses the 3.6L V6 and 3.0L Hurricane engines and that HEMI returns for 2026. No 2025 scope is inserted. Exact per-MPN named tables extend seven existing groups through 2024, preserve Laramie Longhorn 2019–2021 and Longhorn 2021, and restore Special Service 2020–2021. Separate 2026 rows are added for the nine explicitly named retailer groups under the exact manual’s eTorque-only condition: Big Horn, Express, Laramie, Limited, Limited Longhorn, Lone Star, Rebel, Tradesman and Warlock. These require an actual 5.7L eTorque vehicle, not another engine offered under the same trim. Some non-US retailer tables extend Special Service to 2023 or add regional names; those branches remain held rather than expanded here. This is DT fitment, not the concurrently sold DS/Classic, Hurricane, V6 or supercharged TRX.

1 05-01339 Aluminum SAE / NPT breather fitting
1 03-50009 #056 clamp expressly itemized in BOM
1 05-01534 43-inch trim seal

The shared manual’s other filter row is an alternative, not a second included filter. It itemizes one #056 clamp, while the coupling procedure and illustration use two worm clamps and separately show the filter clamp. This quantity/itemization discrepancy remains qualified: verify the actual supplied clamp set, without inventing a second size or a replacement service part. The original temperature sensor and four mounting grommets are reused; no MAF, new sensor screws or replacement grommets are listed. The two selected manufacturer manuals have matching full text and all sixteen rendered pages compare pixel-identically, allowing reuse of the visually reviewed BOM and Figures A–J. This does not transfer the different media-specific dyno results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are both filter options supplied for 54-13075R?

No. One 24-91149 Pro 5R filter is selected; the shared manual’s other media row is an alternative.

Does the 2019–2026 headline include 2025?

No. The exact manual lists 2019–2024 and 2026 separately, and the OEM confirms the 2025 engine lineup lacks the 5.7L HEMI.

Does 2026 approval include every engine?

No. The exact manual specifies 5.7L eTorque for 2026. A trim name alone does not authorize a Hurricane, V6 or another engine.

Does a MAF transfer?

The exact procedure transfers the original intake-air-temperature sensor through the supplied adaptor and grommet. No new MAF is listed.

Which end of the tube goes in first?

The smaller throttle-body/coupling end first, then the larger filter end, before final alignment and clamp tightening.

Should every breather-fitting thread disappear?

No. The manual explicitly warns against overtightening and says some threads remain exposed when correctly tightened.

How many coupling clamps are clearly itemized?

The written BOM itemizes one #056, while the illustration and steps use two coupling clamps. Verify the actual kit’s clamp set; no unsupported second size is supplied here.

What torque, battery step and check interval apply?

No numeric torque or battery-disconnection step is stated. Transfer all four original grommets and check clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles.

Installation Instructions

Verify aFe 54-13075R. Read the exact sixteen-page manual on a cool engine. Loosen original throttle-body and airbox clamps, release the crankcase breather fitting and temperature harness, then remove the factory tube. Pull the original airbox upward off its mounts and transfer all four original grommets to the new housing. Install the 43-inch seal around its upper opening, trimming the seal as needed; no vehicle drilling is prescribed. Seat the housing at all four pegs. Remove the filter clamp, slide the single selected filter through the top, guide its flange into the round opening until it snaps in and replace the clamp loosely. Fit the reducer with its small end at the throttle body and secure that connection, leaving the tube-side clamp loose. Compare the actual supplied clamps with the illustrated two-clamp coupling arrangement because the written BOM itemizes only one #056. Seat the grommet and supplied temperature adaptor in the existing tube opening. Remove the original sensor by a quarter turn counterclockwise and reinstall clockwise until locked. Thread the aluminum breather fitting into its insert with the specified wrench; do not overtighten and do not force all threads out of sight. Install the tube throttle-body end first, then filter end. Align and tighten the filter clamp with an 11mm deep socket and coupling clamps with an 8mm nut driver. Restore the original breather quick connection and temperature harness, then check all seals and clearances. No battery-disconnection step, numeric torque or extra threaded sealant procedure is specified. Check clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles.

Important Disclosures

The actual family flow chart at 7 inches of water identifies oiled 590 CFM, dry 565 CFM and stock 380 CFM, approximately 55% oiled versus 49% dry. Both actual linked dyno reports use fourth gear, 20% load, traction control off, blade and red fans, original exhaust and a Pedal Commander on both baseline and intake runs. The June 19 and June 30, 2020 runs occur on different dates/times. The selected oiled report uses SAE 1.02 for both runs; its marked 5,500-rpm differences are 10.45 hp and 9.97 lb-ft, while separate maxima differ by 10.80 hp and 11.24 lb-ft. The marked gains and separate peaks are different comparisons. These are reported test conditions, not guaranteed stock-vehicle gains for every later year. The exact manual’s 2025 gap agrees with the OEM engine-lineup explanation; eTorque eligibility is explicit for 2026. Current exact manufacturer page/manual state this product is not CARB exempt and give California purchase/registered-vehicle restrictions. No EO is inferred from another Ram kit. The itemized one-clamp versus illustrated two-coupling-clamp discrepancy remains unresolved in the written BOM.
