Carefully remove the plenum from its rubber mounts without breaking the front mount. Transfer the original temperature sensor to the supplied tube grommet. Assemble the heat shield with its 21-inch trim seal and attach the filter adapter using the three provided button-head screws. Fit one hump coupling and clamps to the adapter, then mount the shield over the stock lower airbox with the three factory screws and supplied 3/8-inch spacers. Fit the other coupling to the throttle body, install the selected filter on its adapter, position the tube at the filter side and throttle-body coupling, then replace the original vent hose/quick connector arrangement with the supplied 13.5-inch hose as illustrated. The BOM calls this fuel hose, but this procedure uses it as a crankcase VENT hose, not a new fuel connection. Reconnect the temperature-sensor harness, align and secure all clamps without overtightening, restore retained line/clip routing and REINSTALL the engine cover.
