Installation Instructions

Unplug the MAF harness, separate the original filter and MAF, then mount the MAF and gasket outside the new housing with the four specified M6 bolts and wavy washers. Place the two nylon spacers into the rubber mounts. Remove and retain the cruise-control bracket bolt where equipped; 2004-2005 arrangements without that bracket use the supplied M6 bolt/washer. Install the housing and restore the cruise-control mounting bolt. Position the hump coupler at the housing and the straight coupler at the throttle body, with the smaller tube end toward the throttle body. Install the original temperature sensor through its grommet, or seal the opening with the instructed grommet/plug where no sensor is used. Restore and secure the MAF harness. Reconnect the idle-air and breather hoses; cap the unused idle-air connection on vehicles without it. Install and secure the filter.
