BMW M3 oil-free intake details
aFe 51-31662 is the Magnum FORCE Stage-2 oil-free intake for qualified BMW M3 E9X 2008-2013 4.0L S65 applications. One Pro DRY S filter, replacement tube and silicone hump coupling use the original airbox and lid. The tube groove seats against both, and the original flexible breather reconnects to the supplied aluminum fitting.

Current exact dry primary and own eight-page manual specify BMW M3 E9X 2008-2013 with 4.0L S65 V8. The original Base row, its year bounds and existing vehicle memberships remain; the old title endpoint is corrected to 2013. Confirm actual E90/E92/E93 body and original housing arrangement. The family endpoint does not mean every body was produced every year. Special editions, larger-displacement versions, later turbocharged M3 models and other engines are not inferred from the family name.

Alternate oiled media in the shared bill is not an additional included filter. The filter has its own band clamp, separate from the two loose size 104 coupling clamps. No replacement airbox, lid, sensor, lid screws or flexible breather is itemized. The supplied fitting is called smog pump in the bill; the procedure reconnects the existing flexible breather to it. Follow that original routing. Shared illustrations show both media options; the selected filter remains dry. Use the exact non-carbon service numbers in this bill rather than those from the separate carbon-fiber tube version.

Installation Instructions
Verify aFe 51-31662. Read all eight pages and figures A-D. Work cool and disconnect negative battery as directed. Loosen original airbox-cover screws with T25 and remove lid. Loosen tube-to-plenum clamp and disconnect original flexible breather from original tube. Remove original tube and filter. Assemble selected filter, its band clamp, supplied rubber grommet and aluminum fitting on replacement tube; secure filter clamp. Fit hump coupling and two supplied clamps loosely. Seat hump coupling on intake plenum FIRST, then guide filter end into original airbox. Verify filter sits BELOW original air-filter plunger and tube groove seats against airbox and lid. Secure hump-coupling clamps. Reconnect original flexible breather to aluminum adapter, restore original lid and secure original retaining screws. Restore battery connection and verify all joints and clearances. Exact manual supplies no numeric torque or mileage recheck interval. Apply supplied EO identification label only after confirming exact vehicle/configuration eligibility; label presence alone is not full exemption proof.
