Does this selected filter need oil?No. 21-45003 is Pro DRY S with three synthetic layers. The generic oiling instructions at the bottom of the shared sheet concern other media and do not authorize oil on this filter.
What housing and factory mounting parts are used?The original lower airbox stays in the vehicle. Attach the new housing using its original retaining clips and fit the supplied aluminum housing cover; this cover is not the removed OEM engine cover.

Attach the tube to the heat shield with the supplied quarter-inch hardware. Place the reducer coupling on the throttle body and initially tighten only that end. Fit the assembly over the retained lower box and reattach both original clips; align the tube and tighten its coupling connection. Replace the original breather line with the supplied 23-inch, 1/2-inch hose and both mini clamps. Install the selected dry filter, then fit the aluminum housing cover with four button-head screws. The cover supplied with the intake is separate from the removed OEM engine cover; the sheet does not expressly document OEM cover reinstatement, so do not invent a cutting or clearance solution. No numeric torque or fixed mileage interval is supplied; the sheet calls for PERIODIC clamp and connection checks.
