Verify aFe 50-70058R. Read all sixteen pages and figures A-K. Work on a cool engine and retain factory parts. Remove and save the original plastic scoop-seal clip and release the three cover tabs. Disconnect both original breather fittings. Loosen the throttle-body clamp and disconnect the MAF harness and its retaining clip. Remove the original cover/tube assembly, then lift the lower housing off its mounts. Fit the new scoop seal to the housing, align its holes and fully seat all four supplied retaining clips. Transfer both side grommets past their beads. Seat the bottom housing pin fully in the retained vehicle grommet and engage both side pins/grommets in their bracket. Put the scoop seal behind the original plastic trim and restore the saved original seal clip. Place the large housing clamp and selected filter with its flange clamp, initially loose. Fit the optional auxiliary inlet plug if desired; the manual associates maximum airflow with the opening uncovered. Put the bellows and #056 clamp at the throttle body, and #060 on the bellows open end, both initially loose.
