aFe 54-76212 Momentum GT fits the specified 2012–2018 Wrangler JK naturally aspirated 3.6L gasoline V6. This version uses one five-layer oiled cotton-gauze Pro 5R filter with a black XLPE sight-window housing and a roto-molded resonance-chamber tube.

Installation Instructions

Verify aFe 54-76212. Cool the engine and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the engine cover, two original tube bolts, temperature-sensor connector and original short crankcase-vent hose, then lift out the old intake assembly. Release the sensor's small lock, twist about 45 degrees counterclockwise and pull straight out. Fit the filter into the new housing and seat the housing in the original mounting grommets. Install the new grommet and adaptor in the tube and lock the original temperature sensor into the adaptor. Transfer the original metal sleeves and rubber tube grommets. Assemble the silicone bellows coupling and matched clamps, route the coolant overflow line above the fan shroud and just below the new tube mounting tabs, reconnect the sensor and install the replacement crankcase-vent hose. Secure the tube with the two retained bolts, tighten connections, reinstall the cover and recheck after approximately 100–200 miles. No numeric torque is specified.
