Loosen the turbo-inlet connection and remove the original intake tube. Snap the selected filter into the new housing with its clamp loose, and install the supplied rubber mount into the small lower housing hole. Verify both original vehicle grommets remain seated, reinstalling them if needed. Push the housing onto its mounts. Transfer the original MAF with the supplied screws. Place the silicone coupling over the factory turbo inlet with clamps loose. Insert the tube into that coupling first and then the filter. Align all components before securing the clamps and reconnecting the MAF. Check clamps and connectors after 200 miles. The exact manual specifies neither battery disconnection nor numeric torque; procedures from a different kit are not substituted.
The linked selected-part flow chart shows 214 versus stock 167 CFM at 1.5 inches H2O, about 28.1 percent above stock. The separate 400-CFM statement uses a 7-inch pressure and is not verified by that comparison.
