aFe 54-76204 Momentum GT fits the specified 2012–2018 Wrangler JK naturally aspirated 3.6L gasoline V6. This version uses one five-layer oiled cotton-gauze Pro 5R filter with a sealed tire-tread housing, auxiliary scoop and roto-molded tube; it is not the sight-window version.
2012–2017 Wrangler and separately named 2018 Wrangler JK with the naturally aspirated 3.6L gasoline V6. The 2018 JL is a different generation. Named rows require the actual engine, sensor, vent, housing and mounting configuration. Original named-trim boundaries and gaps are retained unless the exact-part table supports a specific correction; generic body names do not approve additional trims.

| 1 | 24-91062 | Pro 5R selected-media filter; other manual alternatives are separate versions |

The manual's steps additionally show separate housing/filter clamps and a mounting M6 x 25 mm screw with M6 flat washer, which are not fully itemized in the current parts table. Older manual revisions list different clamp and sensor-adaptor numbers. Confirm the actual supplied hardware and sensor-adaptor revision before installation; do not assume a complete extra clamp or fastener set from a generic included-hardware field. The BOM labels the hose as fuel hose, but the intake procedure uses it as the crankcase vent connection.

No. This application is for the outgoing Wrangler JK 3.6L. The table keeps the separately named 2018 Wrangler JK distinct from JL models.
How many filters and which media are supplied? One Pro 5R filter, 24-91062. Its five cotton-gauze layers are oiled; use the appropriate cleaner and re-oiling procedure. Other elements pictured in the shared manual are alternative kits, not extra supplied filters.
Can I treat it as an oil-free filter? No. Exact PG7 descriptions identify five cotton layers plus two synthetic layers and an oiled service procedure. Conflicting retailer oil-free or Pro5R headings do not change that media.
Is the coupling silicone or urethane? The current manufacturer manual lists a straight silicone coupling, 05-01223. Retailer prose also says urethane, so match the actual supplied revision rather than assuming the two materials are interchangeable.
Is the short hose a fuel-system modification? No. The procedure uses the supplied 5/8-inch by 9-inch hose to reconnect the crankcase vent. The BOM's fuel-hose description is its material description, not an instruction to alter a fuel line.
Are a new sensor and every fastener supplied? The original temperature sensor is reused. The current manual's screw/washer, clamp and sensor-adaptor details have differences between the BOM and steps; verify boxed hardware before starting.
Does the linked dyno independently identify this kit?Current product page claims 12 HP / 11 lb-ft and 47% more flow. Both linked dynos actually label a different part number, 54-82092, so they do not independently certify this kit or its filter media.
What supports emissions application? The official indexed D-550-50 exhibit names this exact kit family for 2012–2018 Wrangler 3.6L naturally aspirated. Check the full applicable conditions and label; older retailer racing-only wording does not replace the exact exhibit.
Verify aFe 54-76204. On a cool engine, disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the engine cover. Remove the two original tube bolts, unplug the temperature sensor, loosen the throttle-body clamp and remove the short original crankcase-vent hose. Lift out the original intake assembly and carefully twist the sensor free. Remove the specified inner-fender tray bolt while retaining the plastic tray; attach the new housing using the current revision's specified screw and washer after confirming them in the kit. Assemble the filter/housing and straight coupling with the correct matched clamps. Transfer the original temperature sensor using the supplied grommet and the revision-correct adaptor as applicable; the current procedure and BOM are not fully consistent about the adaptor. Reconnect the sensor, snap the coolant line into the tube clip and install the new crankcase-vent hose. Tighten all connections, reinstall the engine cover and recheck after approximately 100–200 miles. No numeric torque is supplied.
Use the exact illustrated manual and actual boxed revision. Official indexed D-550-50 names this kit for 2012–2018 Wrangler 3.6L naturally aspirated; verify the complete applicable EO conditions and identification label before inspection. The indexed exhibit was read; the complete current signed PDF and independent revocation status were not established. Current product page claims 12 HP / 11 lb-ft and 47% more flow. Both linked dynos actually label a different part number, 54-82092, so they do not independently certify this kit or its filter media. No guaranteed power, fuel-economy, fault-code or warranty outcome is promised.
