aFe Momentum GT intake details
aFe 54-74109 is the Momentum GT intake for specified Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 2017–2022 3.6L V6 applications, including the documented Denali application. One Pro 5R filter fits the window housing. The molded tube and silicone hump reducer retain the original MAF and two vent connections, with the original vent-hose branch reconfigured exactly as illustrated.

For D, four Colorado and one Canyon Denali ranges extend from 2021 to 2022; missing Canyon AT4, Elevation and Elevation Standard 2021–2022 and SLT 2017–2020 groups are restored. Original gaps and remaining endpoints are preserved. A retailer engine table also claims 2021 diesel coverage, conflicting with the exact primary 3.6L application; no diesel scope is added. The original vent-hose assembly is reused and reversed by rotating its T connector and reversing the end fittings, following the SHORT/LONG labels in Figures K and L. This is not a hose-cutting instruction and no replacement hose is listed. Rotate the coolant-reservoir hose-clamp ears upward for clearance without opening the coolant circuit. Transfer the two airbox grommets with metal spacers to the new housing, reuse both original mounting nuts, and seat its lower pin into the chassis grommet. The original engine cover is part of the removed intake-tube assembly; the final illustration shows the replacement tube without a separate engine-cover restoration step. The manual includes a negative-battery disconnection instruction with awkward plural wording; follow the actual vehicle’s battery isolation procedure, without inferring an extra battery. A filter clamp is illustrated without a separate BOM code. No new scoop, MAF, extension harness, coolant hose or threadlocker is listed. Service supplies are separate.

Installation Instructions
Verify aFe 54-74109. Work on a cool engine and follow the manual’s negative-battery isolation instruction using the vehicle’s specified procedure. Loosen the original throttle-body, airbox and breather clamps with an 8mm nut driver, disconnect the small breather hose, remove the three 10mm screws, then remove the oil cap and integrated engine-cover/intake-tube assembly. Reinstall the oil cap. Disconnect MAF and release the airbox wire-loom clip. Remove and save the two 10mm airbox nuts, then lift the airbox and attached inlet off its lower mounting grommet. Rotate the coolant-reservoir hose-clamp ears upward using pliers. Transfer MAF with T20 and the two supplied M4 x 0.7 x 8mm screws without overtightening, and install the supplied aluminum fitting with a 17mm or adjustable wrench. Fit the supplied 18-inch seal trim to the housing opening. Transfer the two original grommets and metal spacers, seat the housing lower pin in its chassis grommet and its front mounts over both studs, then reuse the saved nuts. Seat the selected filter and clamp without tightening. Fit the silicone hump reducer and supplied clamps at the throttle body, tightening only the throttle-body end initially. Release the stock vent hose at both clips, rotate its T connector and reverse the end fittings as shown in Figures K and L, then reinstall it in the new SHORT/LONG configuration. Insert the tube into the filter first, then the coupling, align and tighten all clamps. Reconnect and clamp the larger vent hose, snap the smaller breather fitting onto the tube’s aluminum port, and reconnect MAF. Fit the optional auxiliary-inlet plug if desired and verify clearance and security. Complete battery reconnection under the vehicle procedure and recheck bolts, clamps and connectors after 200 miles. No numeric torque or coolant-hose cutting is specified.
Important Disclosures
Both product pages advertise 350 CFM at 7 inches H2O, 29-percent airflow and 9 hp/7 lb-ft gains. Both linked flow images are byte-identical R-labeled charts showing 191 versus stock 148 CFM at 1.5 inches H2O, approximately 29.1 percent; the separate 350-CFM/7-inch page claim is not the same-pressure measurement.
