Installation Instructions

Verify aFe 51-76013. With a cool engine, loosen the original throttle and airbox clamps, disconnect BOTH original vent hoses and unplug the original MAF, releasing its wire clips. Release the four airbox lid clips and remove the lid/filter, then remove the three lower-airbox mounting screws and retain them. Install the supplied M8 rubber isolation mount in the FRONT-MOST THREADED HOLE and HAND TIGHTEN ONLY; do not borrow the earlier Tacoma A/C-bracket replacement step. Fit and trim the 17-inch inlet seal. Transfer TWO original steel sleeves and rubber grommets to the rear housing mounts. Secure the housing with the specified original bolt at the left mount, supplied M8 bolt at the right rear, and nut/washer at the new isolation mount. Fit the selected filter and large T-bolt loosely. Transfer the original MAF with the two T20 Torx screws and install the brass nipple near the sensor. Close the FRONT 1/8-NPT optional methanol-injection port with the supplied threaded plug using the specified 3/16-inch Allen key; no injection system is included. Fit the silicone hump coupling and first #052 clamp at the throttle body, leaving the second clamp loose. Insert the tube first into the throttle coupling and then into the filter.
