Verify aFe 54-76301. Read all sixteen pages and figures A-K. Work on a cool engine and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Disconnect both MAF harnesses, loosen the original turbo-inlet adaptor clamps and unclip hoses from both airboxes. Remove one original T30 housing screw from each side. Lift each airbox from its mounts and release attached hoses. Remove both original air inlet pieces and reinstall them on their matching sides. Transfer original grommets to the new housings and fit the large filter clamps loosely. Seat the driver housing against its original air inlet and dome grommet, secure the coolant hose to that housing and insert its filter. Repeat housing and filter installation on the passenger side. Transfer each MAF to its matching tube using the four supplied screws. Fit both silicone couplings and their clamps loosely on the turbo inlet adaptors. Insert each tube into its filter first and then into its coupling, keeping tube logos facing upward and preserving sensor sides. Secure both housings with their original T30 screws. Align and tighten all clamps and screws, reconnect both MAF harnesses, and retighten after approximately 100 miles. No numeric torque is stated in the exact manual.
The manufacturer-linked flow chart shows selected Pro 5R 540 CFM versus original 500 CFM at 7 inches H2O, an 8-percent increase. Its dry-media value of 515 CFM is not the selected filter; older retailer 29-percent wording conflicts with this chart and current page.
