aFe 50-30028RH is a Momentum XP intake for the specified GM 5.3L/6.2L trucks and SUVs, using one 24-91079 Pro 5R filter with five oiled cotton layers, an XLPE windowed housing and a 3.5-inch mandrel-bent brushed aluminum tube. The selected tube finish is distinct; shared bill alternatives do not mean two filters or two tubes. The current manufacturer states this product is not CARB exempt.
The current exact primary and own shared sixteen-page manual cover 2014-2018 Silverado/Sierra 1500 5.3L/6.2L, 2019 Silverado 1500 LD/Sierra 1500 Limited 5.3L, 2015-2020 Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon/Yukon XL 5.3L/6.2L and 2015-2020 Escalade/ESV 6.2L. Denali is explicitly included. Actual engine determines coupling/clamp choice; a trim carrying another engine is not approved. Preserve all original named bounds and restore only the five missing exact selected-part table groups: Escalade ESV Luxury, Silverado LS, Silverado LD WT, Tahoe PPV and Sierra Limited SLE. No later-generation 2019 regular-body pickup or later SUV inference.

| Dyno | Both current selected pages link the same report whose actual run identifies the black oiled variant, tested on a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L. Marked 3,800-rpm point gives 212.20 minus 197.10 = 15.10 HP and 293.25 minus 272.42 = 20.83 lb-ft. Separate maxima are 271.91 versus 260.27 HP = 11.64 HP, and 294.23 versus 290.90 lb-ft = 3.33 lb-ft. Intake October 19, 2018 at 11:01:03 versus baseline October 11 at 11:27:42; both OEM exhaust, 35x12.50R18 tires, lift kit, 15% preload and third gear. One selected tube and one selected filter; other finishes/media in shared bill are alternatives. Both engine-specific couplings and their stated clamp options are itemized, but only the correct engine combination is installed. The filter-flange clamp is a separate operation from itemized housing and coupling clamps. Retain original MAF seal and bottom housing retaining plug. No new sensor, new mounting-grommet set, GM air-filter-life procedure or fixed recheck mileage is supplied.
aFe Power develops application-specific intake, filtration, exhaust, cooling, tuning, suspension, drivetrain, and truck-performance components supported by product testing and documented installation requirements.

Is this an oil-free filter? No. One 24-91079 Pro 5R uses five progressively finer oiled cotton layers; clean and re-oil with the correct method.
Which coupling applies to my engine?5.3L uses the hump with two smaller clamps. 6.2L uses reducer with one smaller and one larger clamp. Do not install both alternative couplings in series.
Which factory seal and plug must be retained?Transfer the original MAF seal with the sensor and the original bottom airbox retaining plug. Factory mounting grommets remain in use.
Which breather hoses are included? Two 1/2-inch-ID silicone hoses, one 13 inches and one 16 inches long. Secure over valve-cover/tube beads; the manual does not state a side-to-length assignment.
Do the dyno gains certify all engines and finishes? Both current selected pages link the same report whose actual run identifies the black oiled variant, tested on a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L. Marked 3,800-rpm point gives 212.20 minus 197.10 = 15.10 HP and 293.25 minus 272.42 = 20.83 lb-ft. Separate maxima are 271.91 versus 260.27 HP = 11.64 HP, and 294.23 versus 290.90 lb-ft = 3.33 lb-ft. This is not a separately measured brushed-tube or 6.2L result, and point gains differ from separate peak gains.
Is this intake CARB exempt? No. Current manufacturer page states it is not CARB exempt and unavailable for California purchase or use on California-registered vehicles. Follow the exact application and local emissions requirements.
What battery, torque and recheck instructions apply?Disconnect negative battery terminal and follow the exact assembly procedure. No numeric torque or fixed mileage interval is given in the current manual; no later GM Filter Life reset is prescribed.
Verify aFe 50-30028RH. Read all sixteen pages and figures A-J. Work cool and disconnect negative battery terminal as own manual requires. Disconnect MAF plug and its harness clip; loosen stock airbox/throttle clamps. Disconnect both original crankcase breathers at valve covers and remove original tube/plenum with breather plugs attached, then remove stock airbox. Optionally close auxiliary inlet with supplied plug, install housing T-bolt and selected filter with its clamp loose. Install 28-inch trim seal and transfer ORIGINAL BOTTOM retaining plug from stock airbox. Press housing fully into original mounting grommets. Transfer original MAF AND FACTORY SEAL using two supplied M4 screws; own bill does not give screw length. For 5.3L use hump coupling and TWO smaller 03-50498 clamps. For 6.2L use reducer coupling with ONE smaller 03-50498 and ONE larger 03-50265 clamp. Slide tube into FILTER FIRST, then throttle coupling; align and tighten. Install supplied 13-inch and 16-inch 1/2-inch-ID breather hoses between tube and both valve covers, ensuring secure seating over beads; no unsupported passenger/driver length assignment is printed. Reconnect MAF harness and restore battery connection per vehicle procedure. No numeric torque or mileage recheck interval is given in this exact current manual; do not borrow a later GM Filter Life reset or 100-200-mile instruction.
Exact current selected primary, own sixteen-page manual, full bill and figures A-J were read and viewed. Both manuals and both flow/dyno reports have identical bytes; the shared manual explicitly identifies both selected finishes. This is not a separately measured brushed-tube or 6.2L result, and point gains differ from separate peak gains. Current primary states not CARB exempt and not available for California purchase or use on California-registered vehicles; the manual further restricts public-road use in California and states adopting those emissions rules. No EO approval from a different GM intake is borrowed. Original application bounds remain, with only five exact named-table groups restored.
