The aFe 49-43092-P Large Bore-HD system uses four-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless tubing, an over-axle Y-pipe and two five-inch polished intercooled clamp-on tips. Factory-style hangers and an OE-style flange mount behind the retained particulate filter. The manufacturer specifies hand MIG welding.

- Lay out all sections. Loosen the underbody spare tire, move it as far right as needed toward the heat shield for left-pipe clearance and secure it again once clearance is established. Do not leave the spare loose.

- Use retained stock bolts to install hanger bracket 05-46258 before the left tailpipe. Fit the left tailpipe into the provided rubber isolation mount and position its polished tip with the badge facing rearward, initially tightening only slightly.
- Confirm correct sensor refitting under the resolved service requirements, all clearances and alignment. Tighten four-inch bands from front to rear. No numerical torque or additional sensor/protection-material procedure is invented from the photographs.
