Installation Instructions
- Read the exact manufacturer instructions for 46-33009, verify the actual engine, intake, hardware and applicable emissions scope before removal.
- Remove the throttle-cable cover and intake tube from MAF and throttle body. Remove the two cable-bracket bolts and disconnect throttle/cruise cables as equipped.
- Disconnect the TPS, remove the four body bolts and remove the throttle body.
- Fit the gasket, spacer and throttle body with the engraved side toward the body. Use the supplied screws and rubberized washers; tighten to 8 ft-lb.
- Attach the extender brackets with their countersunk screws using the specified hex tool; reinstall the original bracket with its original bolts. Restore the TPS and throttle/cruise cable connections and verify free operation.
- Reinstall the inlet tube. Do not force the original cable cover onto the changed assembly: the manual says it needs extensive modification. Use the supplied ties for the power-brake vent tube as instructed and inspect all connections.
