Installation Overview
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and allow the engine to cool
- Remove the intake tube connected to the throttle body inlet
- Disconnect the TPS sensor connector and IAC connections from the factory throttle body
- Remove the four throttle body mounting bolts and set the factory unit aside
- Clean both mating surfaces and install the spacer using new gaskets
- Reinstall the factory throttle body onto the spacer using the original hardware
- Reconnect all intake plumbing and vacuum lines
- Reconnect the battery and start the engine to confirm normal idle
- Allow the ECU to complete an idle relearn cycle before performing a WOT test
