Remove three original airbox screws, but reuse only two with the new housing: the supplied M8 isolation mount replaces the frontmost mounting point. Transfer the two original bottom steel sleeves and rubber grommets. Trim the 14-inch seal to fit the housing inlet. Orient bellows lettering away from the throttle body. The filter-flange clamp is shown in the procedure without a separate BOM service code/count; it is distinct from the supplied housing T-bolt clamp. Retain the original CCV hose; no new vent hose, check valve, MAF sensor or extension harness is listed. No battery-disconnection step is given. What torque and recheck interval apply?No numeric torque is specified. Check all bolts, clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles.
Verify aFe 56-70012R. Work on a cool engine. Pull the engine cover upward and away to release its grommets. Disconnect the MAF harness and unclip its loom from the airbox lid and resonance chamber. Loosen the throttle-body and airbox clamps, disconnect the original CCV hose and remove the original tube. Release the two airbox-lid clips, remove the lid and filter, then remove the three original housing screws and lift out the lower airbox. Transfer its two steel sleeves and rubber grommets to the new housing. Fit the supplied trim seal along the inlet and trim it to fit. Install the supplied M8 isolation mount at the frontmost vehicle mount. Seat the new housing over the stud and secure the other two locations with two original screws; secure the stud using the supplied washer and M8 lock nut. Transfer the MAF using the two supplied M4 screws and T20. Fit the red bellows to the throttle body with lettering facing away, tighten the first #052 clamp and leave the second loose. Fit the housing T-bolt clamp and filter with its clamp loose. Insert the tube into the throttle-body bellows first and then into the filter. Align and tighten the bellows, housing and filter clamps without overtightening. Reconnect the original MAF harness and CCV hose. Fit the silicone plug to close the auxiliary inlet if desired; the manual says best performance is achieved with it removed. Restore the engine cover. Check all bolts, clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles. The manual gives no numeric torque.
The page claims 385 CFM and 35% more flow. Its actual linked chart shows Pro 5R 385 CFM, Pro DRY S 385 CFM and stock 295 CFM at 7 inches H2O: 385 versus 295 is approximately 30.5%, so the page percentage and chart baseline are not interchangeable. The linked Dynojet image compares a December 14, 2018 stock-intake run, SAE factor 0.99, with an April 4, 2019 R-intake Rev 4 run, SAE factor 1.00. Both note stock exhaust, third gear, traction control off, 20% preload, blade fan and 285/70/17 tires.
