Which original sensor and breather parts remain?Transfer the original TEMPERATURE SENSOR with the two supplied M4 screws and reconnect the original crankcase breather line to the supplied NPT fitting. No new sensor, extension or replacement breather hose is listed.
Must the NPT fitting hex touch the tube?No. The exact manual states a small gap is normal. Do not force the tapered fitting until its hex bottoms against the tube.
How does the turbo-side bellows locate?Its end sits flush at the turbo-inlet rim so the internal lip fits the groove. Confirm comfortable alignment before tightening the tube-side clamp.
Are new mounts or a strut brace included?No. Press the housing into all THREE original mounting grommets and reinstall an overhead brace if removed. Manufacturer compatibility with factory or aFe CONTROL bars does not include a new bar.

Verify aFe 56-70050R. Work only with a cool engine and retain original parts. Remove an intake-overhead brace if fitted and unplug the original temperature-sensor harness. Loosen the original airbox clamp, move the original tube away and pull up the airbox. Disconnect the crankcase breather line, detach the harness from the old tube and carefully release the turbo-inlet retention ring to remove that tube. Transfer the ORIGINAL TEMPERATURE SENSOR to the new tube using the TWO supplied M4 screws. Install the aluminum NPT fitting; a small gap between its hex and the tube is normal, not an instruction to force it flush. Push the selected filter into the housing until its tabs LOCK; leave the filter clamp loose. Place the silicone bellows and two supplied clamps at the turbo inlet, with its end FLUSH to the inlet rim so the internal lip seats in the inlet groove. Tighten the turbo-side clamp, insert the new tube, reconnect the ORIGINAL CRANKCASE BREATHER LINE, check relaxed alignment and tighten the tube-side clamp. Press the assembled housing into all THREE ORIGINAL MOUNTING GROMMETS, insert the tube into the filter and tighten its clamp. Reconnect the original sensor harness and REINSTALL THE STRUT BRACE if removed. Check all connections, bolts and clamps after 100-200 miles. The manual gives no numeric torque. Tools include 6mm/8mm drivers or sockets, socket wrench, flat screwdriver, T20 bit and panel popper; they are not supplied kit contents.
Manufacturer test results depend on the specified vehicle, filter and run configuration. Current manufacturer21-26 headline is broader than its linked21-23 manual; later named applications are separately table-supported. The exact manual states this complete intake is not currently CARB exempt and is unavailable for California purchase or California-registered vehicles.
