Only the selected filter-media pair is included. Both original MAF sensors and the original crankcase fitting/spring clamp transfer; no new sensors are supplied. The manual BOM calls B1 passenger/B2 driver, but the installation text reverses those tube-side codes. Housing side wording is also inconsistent in the repeated steps. Match the actual illustrated geometry, crankcase-port elbow and sensor position rather than relying on the conflicting side labels. The two trim-seal prefixes are reproduced as printed, not certified as interchangeable service numbers.

Does this filter media require oil?Yes. Pro 5R is five-layer cotton gauze supplied pre-oiled; use the appropriate cleaning and re-oiling process.
Are the tubes and housings aluminum?No. The current manufacturer specifies XLPE polymer for both tubes and both open-element housings.
Do both original MAF sensors transfer?Yes, using the four supplied M4 Torx screws. Preserve each sensor’s original side and reconnect both harnesses.
Is the original front scoop retained?Yes. Remove it for access, then reinstall it using the original eight push clips.
Can I use the printed tube-side part labels alone?No. The BOM and procedure reverse B1/B2 side labels. Confirm actual geometry, sensor position and the crankcase-port elbow against the illustrations.
Are the advertised gains peak-to-peak increases?No. The marked curve differences and separate peak values differ. See the selected-media dyno conditions and comparisons above.
What torque and follow-up check are specified?The manual gives no numeric torque. It requires verifying all attachments and checking bolts, clamps and connectors after 100–200 miles.
Verify aFe 56-10004R. Work with the engine cool and retain factory parts. Remove eight push clips and lift off the original front scoop. Release each factory housing’s two bolts, clips and front half; disconnect both MAF plugs and harness retainers. Loosen turbo-inlet clamps, preserve the original crankcase fitting and spring clamp and remove the remaining factory assemblies. Transfer each MAF to its corresponding new tube with supplied M4 screws without interchanging sides. Fit the elbow with crankcase port on the illustrated side and reuse the original fitting/clamp. Position tube pegs fully in factory grommets before tightening; the port-side procedure tightens the turbo-inlet clamp before the tube clamp. Install the straight reducer on the other side, align and reconnect both MAF plugs. Transfer original sleeved housing grommets, apply trim seals, snap each filter into its housing, seat the housings next to the fenders and attach with original bolts. Secure filter-flange connections. Reinstall the original scoop and eight clips. Verify all attachments and recheck after 100–200 miles. No numeric torque is provided; the BOM and procedure reverse some side codes, so use the illustrated geometry.
The current manufacturer Pro 5R page advertises 610 CFM, 36% more flow and up to 9 hp/12 lb-ft. The actual shared flow chart shows 450 CFM stock, 590 CFM Pro DRY S and 610 CFM labeled Pro 10R at 7 inches H2O; that Pro 10R label conflicts with this five-layer Pro 5R listing and does not change the supplied filter identity. The actual selected-media Dynojet comparison uses a 2019 Q50 3.0 twin-turbo with factory exhaust and fourth-gear automatic, tested April 16, 2019 with SAE 1.00. Marked readings at about 3,703 rpm differ by 8.53 hp and 12.08 lb-ft; independent peak values differ by 4.25 hp and 4.07 lb-ft. These are configuration-specific curve comparisons, not guaranteed peak gains for every year or trim. Both current page and manual state this product is not CARB exempt and is unavailable for California purchase or use on a California-registered vehicle.
