Frequently Asked Questions
Will Air Lift 57575, the LoadLifter 7500XL Ultimate for 01-10 Chevy Silverado 2500/3500, fit my 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500?
Match year, make, model, drivetrain, bed or wheelbase, hitch hardware, factory suspension, frame brackets, and every application note for this exact kit.
Do Air Lift helper springs increase towing or payload capacity?
No. They help level and support the existing suspension, but the vehicle manufacturer's GVWR, GAWR, payload, hitch, tire, and towing limits remain unchanged.
Do I need an onboard compressor for this kit?
Manual inflation works for occasional load changes. An onboard compressor is useful for frequent towing or varying loads, but it must match the kit's pressure and control requirements.
How much air pressure should I use?
Stay within the exact kit's published minimum and maximum. Add only enough pressure to level the loaded vehicle while keeping axle, tire, payload, and towing limits unchanged.
Installation Instructions
- Confirm Air Lift part number 57575, the complete application, and every required supporting component before disassembly.
- Secure the vehicle at the manufacturer's specified lift points, unload the suspension as directed, and inspect the frame, brackets, springs, lines, and nearby components.
- Follow Air Lift's current instructions for bracket orientation, clearances, routing, fastener sequence, pressure limits, and any drilling or trimming.
- Inflate and leak-test the system, cycle the suspension and steering as applicable, and verify clearance from tires, exhaust, brakes, driveline, wiring, and bodywork.
- Torque and align as required, then recheck leaks, pressure, fasteners, and clearance after the first loaded drive cycles.
