Engineered on the 971 platform around the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8, S-PO/TI/9H replaces all exhaust components after the catalytic converters with a full titanium system that cuts 16.7 kg from the rear of the car and adds a measured 12 kW (16 hp) at 6,400 rpm and 20 Nm of torque at 2,700 rpm on the factory engine. - Locate the factory cat-back connection point immediately after the OEM catalytic converters
- Remove the factory muffler clamps and disconnect the stock hangers from all OEM rear-section components
- Carefully remove the OEM link pipes and muffler assembly and set aside
- Inspect all connection ends for damage or corrosion before proceeding
- Install the Akrapovic front link pipe section to the OEM cat outlet using the supplied clamps per the instructions
- Connect the middle link pipe section and then the titanium muffler assembly, engaging the OEM hanger points
