The S-BM/T/10H replaces the factory rear muffler assembly with a lightweight titanium system that saves 3.9 kg while adding a verified +3 kW and +6 Nm to the twin-turbocharged S58 inline-six. The result is a sharper throttle response, a deeper and more aggressive exhaust character under load, and a cleaner visual presence at the rear of the vehicle. Installation Instructions
- Allow the vehicle to cool fully before beginning. The exhaust system retains heat after operation.
- Raise and support the vehicle securely on a lift or jack stands to gain safe underside access.
- Loosen and remove the factory muffler assembly clamps, heat shields and rubber hanger mounts. Retain OEM parts.
- Slide the factory muffler assembly off the mid-pipe and remove from the vehicle.
- Slide the Akrapovic S-BM/T/10H left and right titanium silencers onto the OEM mid-pipe connection points.
- Attach the provided Akrapovic clamps and position the rubber hangers on the factory mounting points.
- Install your chosen compatible Akrapovic tail pipe tip set onto the silencer outlets.
- Start the engine and inspect all joints for leaks. Retighten any hardware as needed.
- Conduct a test drive and re-inspect all connections after the first full heat cycle.
