Installation Overview
- Safely lift the vehicle and secure on jack stands or a 4-post lift
- Allow the factory exhaust to cool completely before beginning work
- Loosen and remove the OEM muffler clamps using an 18mm socket
- Support the factory rear muffler assembly and disconnect from the OEM hangers
- Lower and remove the OEM muffler; set it aside
- Slide the Akrapovic S-BM/T/3H muffler onto the existing center pipe flange
- Align the carbon fiber tips to exit centered in the rear bumper cutouts
- Hook the muffler onto the factory rubber hanger mounts
- Install and snug the Akrapovic supplied clamps; do not fully torque until alignment is confirmed
- Start the engine and verify proper fitment, sound, and no exhaust leaks before torquing clamps to spec
