Installation

This set is a direct plug-and-play OEM replacement. No drilling, cutting, or wiring modification is required. The connectors mate to the stock Mustang harness without adapters. Installation typically takes approximately 30 minutes. AlphaRex recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before beginning work and having a qualified mechanic perform the install if you are not comfortable working with automotive electrical components.

Important: Do not apply dielectric grease or any weather-sealing compound to the connectors or sockets. Doing so will cause connection failures and will void the warranty.

Both share the same prismatic LED tube design, sequential turn signal, and activation sequence. The only difference is the lens tint and housing finish. The clear lens on this set maximizes the visual impact of the prism optics in daylight. The smoked lens on ARX655010 gives a darker, more blacked-out appearance at the cost of some daytime light signature visibility.

Shelby GT350 and GT350R compatibility covers 2015-2020 only (trim discontinued after 2020). Shelby GT500 compatibility covers 2020-2022 (not offered in 2023). Mach 1 compatibility covers 2021-2023. Bullitt covers 2019-2020. GT 50 Years Limited Edition is 2015 only. V6 trim covers 2015-2017 only. All fitment is for US-specification vehicles.

Does installing aftermarket tail lights affect my factory powertrain warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void your vehicle's powertrain warranty simply because you installed aftermarket lighting. The dealer would need to demonstrate that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure being claimed. Exterior LED tail light replacement does not interact with powertrain components.

Warranty

This product is covered by a 2-Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty from AlphaRex against defects in design and materials. The warranty applies to the original purchaser or gift recipient from the date shown on the purchase invoice. Coverage includes material defects present at delivery and water leaks under normal unmodified use. AlphaRex will repair, replace, or refund at its discretion.

The warranty does not cover carrier damage, misuse, modification, normal wear and tear, damage from solvents or extreme weather, installation errors, labor costs, or vehicle downtime.
