Installation Notes

1. Raise and support the vehicle safely on a lift or jack stands with the exhaust fully cooled before starting any removal work.
2. Disconnect and remove the factory catback exhaust from the catalytic converter outlets rearward, taking note of all hanger positions and clamp locations.
3. If retaining the factory tips, carefully separate the tip assemblies from the factory pipe ends using the method outlined in the AWE installation guide.
4. Install the AWE 3015-31321 sections from the X-pipe rearward, hanging all isolators onto the factory hanger hooks and aligning the OEM tip adapters at the rear exits.
5. Reattach your factory tip assemblies onto the AWE adapter ends, hand-tightening all clamps before doing a final alignment check.
6. Fully torque all clamps per the AWE specification, start the engine, and inspect every joint for exhaust leaks. Perform a final torque check after the first heat cycle.
