BD Diesel 07.5-17 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Electronic Exhaust Brake 4.0in

Shop BD Diesel turbochargers, exhaust brakes, transmissions, torque converters, fuel-system products, coolers, steering components, electronic controls, manifolds, pipes, and service hardware. Each product page identifies verified vehicle fitment or the exact universal system interface. Turbo, Exhaust, and Airflow Turbochargers, manifolds, up-pipes, downpipes, exhaust brakes, intercooler parts, intakes, and airflow controls require the correct engine, vehicle, chassis, transmission, emissions configuration, flange, pipe, actuator, oil, coolant, air, and electronic interfaces. Transmission, Fuel, and Chassis Transmissions, converters, valve bodies, pans, filters, fuel pumps, injectors, steering, suspension, and differential products must match the exact family, drivetrain, axle, connector, fitting, mounting point, fluid, calibration, and production requirements. How to Choose the Correct BD Diesel Product Match the complete year, make, model, and listed application Confirm engine, t...

Exhaust brakes provide powerful engine braking for diesel trucks engaged in heavy towing or mountain driving. By restricting exhaust flow and creating back pressure, they slow the vehicle efficiently without over-relying on friction brakes, extending brake life and improving control on grades. Popular Upgrades Top-selling exhaust brakes include BD Diesel exhaust brake kits for Cummins, Duramax, and Powerstroke applications, butterfly-style exhaust valves for medium-duty trucks, and complete exhaust brake kits that include controller switches and mounting hardware for clean installation. How does a diesel exhaust brake work? A diesel exhaust brake restricts the flow of exhaust gases from the engine, creating back pressure that acts as an engine braking force. This slows the vehicle without using the service brakes, which significantly reduces heat and wear on brake pads and rotors during long downhill descents or heavy towing. Is an exhaust brake compatible with my diesel truck? Exha...
