Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning installation.
2. Remove the engine cover if equipped.
3. Rotate the upper radiator hose to approximately the 11 o'clock position to clear the stud area and keep the radiator clamp out of the way when draining the catch can in the future.
4. Locate the jam nut inside the sealed bag in the bottom of the 3018 catch can.
5. Separate the top and bottom of the catch can — do not assemble them together yet.
6. Thread the jam nut onto the engine stud located at the front of the engine.
7. Thread the catch can top onto the stud, rotating 3 to 4 turns.
8. Reinstall the catch can bottom. Tighten until snug only — do not overtighten.
9. Using an adjustable wrench, tighten the jam nut against the catch can bracket until firm. Do not overtighten.
10. Disconnect the factory PCV hose lines and replace them with the included silicone hoses.
11. Connect the longer hose from the rear PCV valve to one of the ports on the 3018.
12. Connect the second hose from the PCV valve on the intake manifold to the other port on the 3018.
13. Apply a small amount of oil or grease to the fittings before attaching hoses to ease the connection.
14. Reinstall the engine cover if applicable, then reconnect the battery terminal.
15. Start the engine and inspect all hose connections for leaks before closing the hood.
