Installation Instructions

1. Safely raise the vehicle and support it on jack stands. Remove the rear wheels.
2. Remove the brake caliper mounting bolts and hang the caliper aside with a wire hook. Do not allow it to hang by the brake hose.
3. Remove the brake pads from the caliper bracket.
4. Remove the caliper bracket mounting bolts and set the bracket aside.
5. Remove the old rotor. On E30 and E36 models, a center retaining screw secures the rotor to the hub — remove it using the included fixing screw hardware.
6. Clean the hub mating surface with a wire brush to remove rust and debris. Apply a thin layer of anti-seize to the hub face only, avoiding the brake surface.
7. Install the new Brembo 08.3947.24 rotor onto the hub and secure it with the included fixing screw.
8. Reinstall the caliper bracket and torque mounting bolts to BMW specification.
9. Install fresh brake pads and reinstall the caliper. Torque caliper bolts to spec.
10. Reinstall the wheels, torque lug nuts to spec, and pump the brake pedal until firm. Perform a break-in procedure before aggressive braking.
