- Bed in on a clear road: from 50 km/h (30 mph) brake down to 10 km/h (5 mph) with medium pedal pressure without coming to a stop.
- Repeat that cycle about ten times with roughly 30 seconds of rolling cool-down between each one.
- Avoid heavy or prolonged braking for the first 200 km (120 miles) so the friction transfer layer stabilises.
