Installation Instructions
- Safely raise and support the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the right rear wheel.
- Disconnect the right rear ABS sensor connector if equipped and secure it away from the work area.
- Remove the factory axle nut and any retaining clips or cotter pins on the rear axle.
- Separate the factory axle from the hub carrier by pressing or pulling outward from the hub.
- Remove the factory axle from the differential stub. Note the orientation of the original adapter plate for reference.
- Clean the differential stub mounting surface and hub bore to remove rust, debris, and old grease.
- Install the DSS billet adapter plate onto the differential stub and torque mounting hardware to the DSS specification.
- Insert the outer CV into the hub and install the axle nut finger-tight.
- Connect the inboard CV to the adapter plate and torque all fasteners to specification.
- Torque the axle nut to the factory specification for your GT-R model year.
- Reconnect the ABS sensor, reinstall the wheel, and torque lug nuts to spec.
- Lower the vehicle and road-test before returning to full-power use.
