The DV8 Offroad RBTT2-06 Spec Series Rear Bumper is a full-width steel replacement bumper built specifically for the 2014 through 2021 Toyota Tundra, covering all cab configurations, all bed lengths, and all trim levels from SR through TRD Pro. This bumper is built from premium-grade steel throughout. The main structural sections use 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) plate steel to handle real-world recovery loads and off-road impacts. The accent panel areas are formed from 3/16-inch (4.76 mm) plate steel, keeping overall weight sensible while providing solid protection across the full width of the rear bumper.

The bumper body carries a micro-texture black powder coat finish, a two-stage coating process that resists UV exposure, rust, and surface scratches far better than standard paint. The removable accent panels receive a separate satin black powder coat, creating a two-tone contrast that complements the factory Tundra exterior styling. Welded-in zip tie tabs are integrated throughout the bumper structure for clean, organized routing of any aftermarket wiring you run to the pod light mounts.

Two 1-inch thick D-ring mount points are welded directly into the bumper body. Each mount accepts a standard 3/4-inch D-ring shackle on a 7/8-inch pin, giving you solid rated recovery points on both corners without the need for add-on adapters.

All trim levels are covered. Confirm your model year before ordering, as this bumper does not fit the 2022 or newer 3rd-generation Tundra.

Important blind spot monitoring (BSM) note: On 2014 to 2017 Tundra models equipped with blind spot monitoring, DV8 does not guarantee full retention of BSM function with this bumper installed. For those trucks, limit pod light installation to two lights to minimize sensor interference. On 2018 to 2021 models, the RBTT2-06 is compatible with or without blind spot monitoring. When BSM is present on any year, use only two of the four pod light positions to retain full BSM functionality.

Warranty

This bumper is backed by DV8 Offroad's 1-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, with DV8 retaining the option to repair or replace the product with an equivalent item at their discretion.

The warranty does not cover installation labor, freight costs, normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse, collision damage, or consequential damages. The warranty is void if the product has been altered, modified, improperly installed, or subjected to neglect or mishandling. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.

To make a warranty claim, contact DV8 Offroad within one month of discovering the defect. The defective product must be returned at the purchaser's expense within the warranty period for inspection. DV8 will verify the defect was not caused by negligence or misuse before authorizing a remedy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the RBTT2-06 fit a 2022 or newer Toyota Tundra?
No. This bumper is designed for the 2nd-generation Tundra (XK50 platform, model years 2014 through 2021 only). The 2022 and newer Tundra is a completely different 3rd-generation platform. For the 3rd-gen Tundra, DV8 Offroad offers the MTO Series rear bumper under part number RBTT2-04.

Will the RBTT2-06 work on my 2014 Tundra that has blind spot monitoring?
The bumper will install on a 2014 to 2017 Tundra with blind spot monitoring, but DV8 Offroad does not guarantee full retention of BSM function on those model years. On 2014 to 2017 trucks with BSM, DV8 recommends mounting no more than two 3-inch pod lights to minimize the risk of blocking BSM sensors. On 2018 to 2021 Tundras, it is fully compatible with or without blind spot monitoring.

Does this rear bumper require any cutting or drilling for installation?
No. This is a fully bolt-on replacement that attaches to the Tundra's factory mounting points. No cutting, drilling, or frame modification is required. All necessary mounting hardware and installation instructions are included in the box. DV8 estimates the installation takes approximately 3.5 hours.

Will this bumper interfere with the factory trailer hitch?
No. This bumper is designed to retain the factory OEM hitch receiver. Your existing hitch ball mount and trailer wiring connections remain fully functional after installation.
