Installation Instructions

1. Safely raise and support the vehicle on jack stands. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a floor jack.
2. Remove the rear wheels to access the rear control arm mounting points.
3. Support the rear axle and remove the rear control arm mounting hardware. Note the torque specifications from the factory service manual before disassembly.
4. Remove the rear control arms from the vehicle.
5. Using a bushing press or hydraulic press, press the factory rubber bushings out of the control arm bores.
6. Clean the control arm bores thoroughly and remove any debris or rust.
7. Apply the supplied Energy Suspension grease generously to the polyurethane bushing outer surface and inner bore.
8. Press the Energy Suspension 8.3148R polyurethane bushings into the control arm bores until fully seated.
9. Install the inner sleeve through the bushing bore.
10. Reinstall the control arms onto the vehicle and thread in the mounting hardware by hand.
11. Lower the suspension to ride height before final torquing of all fasteners to factory specification.
12. Reinstall the wheels and torque lug nuts to specification.
13. Have a professional four-wheel alignment performed after installation.
