Install Instructions

1. Safely lift and support the vehicle with the rear axle hanging freely to take tension off the leaf springs.
2. Disconnect the rear shackle from the frame and the front eye from the frame hanger.
3. Remove the leaf spring pack from the vehicle.
4. Press out the old rubber bushings from the front eye and rear shackle using a bushing removal tool or press.
5. Clean all bushing bore surfaces in the spring eye and shackle thoroughly.
6. Apply a generous coat of polyurethane-compatible grease to the new ENG8.4119R bushings and sleeves.
7. Press the new bushings into the front spring eye and rear shackle using a press or bushing driver.
8. Reinstall the leaf spring pack to the vehicle with all mounting hardware finger-tight.
9. Lower the vehicle to ride height and torque all leaf spring mounting bolts to Toyota factory specification with the vehicle at ride height.
10. Inspect all bushing positions for proper seating before returning the vehicle to service.
