Install Instructions

1. Park the 4Runner on a flat surface and place wheel chocks behind the rear tires.
2. Raise the front or rear of the body as needed using a floor jack and position safety stands under the frame.
3. Remove the body mount bolt from the top and the nut from the underside of each mount position being replaced.
4. Carefully raise the body slightly to create clearance to slide out the old rubber bushings and metal sleeves.
5. Clean the body mount pockets in the frame thoroughly, removing rust, debris, and old rubber residue.
6. Apply a generous coat of polyurethane-compatible grease to all contact surfaces of the new ENG8.4120R bushings.
7. Install the new polyurethane bushings and included steel inserts into the mount pocket in the correct orientation.
8. Lower the body onto the new mounts and install the body mount bolts and nuts finger-tight.
9. Torque all body mount fasteners to Toyota factory specification.
10. Repeat the process for all remaining mount positions, then inspect completed mounts for proper seating.
