Installation Instructions

1. Lift and safely support the front of the GX460 on jack stands. The front end does not need to be fully raised for this job, but adequate clearance under the vehicle is required.
2. Locate the two front sway bar bracket housings on the front subframe, one on each side of the stabilizer bar.
3. Remove the two bolts securing the sway bar bracket to the subframe on one side. The bracket will swing down once the bolts are removed.
4. Slide the old rubber bushing out of the bracket. It may require a flathead pry to remove if it has bonded to the bracket from age.
5. Apply the included Energy Suspension grease to the inside bore of the new 8.5157R polyurethane bushing.
6. Slide the new bushing onto the sway bar and position it in the bracket. The split in the bushing should face toward the front of the vehicle.
7. Reinstall the bracket bolts and torque to factory specification.
8. Repeat on the opposite side.
9. Lower the vehicle and test the sway bar for free rotation and absence of noise before driving.
