Install Instructions
- Safely raise and support the front of the vehicle so the wheels hang free, then remove the front wheel.
- Remove the lower shock mounting bolt, then remove the upper shock mounting hardware.
- Extend and compress the new FTS7236 shock fully three to five times to purge air and prime the internal valving.
- Position the new shock in the mounting brackets, starting the upper hardware first, then the lower bolt.
- Torque the upper and lower mounting hardware to the vehicle and suspension kit manufacturer's specifications.
- Reinstall the wheel and torque lug nuts to factory specifications.
- Repeat on the opposite side, then check for proper tire clearance through full suspension travel.
- Have the front end alignment checked and adjusted to factory specifications after installation.
