Installation Instructions
- Have a qualified technician support the vehicle safely with a chassis lift and suitable tools.
- Remove the existing front shock according to the Jeep service manual.
- Confirm the replacement label shows 987-24-062 and verify both eyelet mounts before installation.
- Install the shock with the body at the top and reuse original hardware only when it is in serviceable condition.
- Compress mounting bushings by approximately one eighth inch and torque all fasteners to Jeep specifications.
- Cycle the suspension, verify clearance, and recheck every fastener before driving.
